About District A

Where is District A?

District A is comprised of a majority of South Wilkes Barre and the Goose Island section of the city. The district includes the section of South Wilkes Barre from Academy Street south to Division Street, at the border with Hanover Township and from the Susquehanna River east to South Main Street. Goose Island is a small section of the city which lies between South Main Street and the railroad tracks near Arch Street and from Blackman Street south to Division Street.
