The District A Fund was created to support efforts toward improving the quality of life for the residents and citizens of the City of Wilkes-Barre. Together with the Luzerne Foundation and the commitment of dedicated volunteers, funds are being raised to maintain, repair and improve the existing municipal and community facilities throughout the District, as well as to enhance the safety and security for all residents. By identifying and prioritizing projects within the District, the Fund will provide necessary services that Wilkes-Barre City tax revenue cannot.

Dear Fellow District A Residents,
Welcome to the Wilkes-Barre District A Fund website. I’m hoping that residents and citizens of District A and the City of Wilkes-Barre will utilize this site as a resource to stay informed and get involved. I’m excited about the potential of the District A Fund, and the difference it can make in our community. Projects put forth by the Fund will have a direct, positive effect on our quality of life.
Take a look around the website, and if you still have questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
I have a personal and professional investment in this community, and I believe that clean, safe neighborhoods start in our own backyards. We must work together to preserve and revitalize our communities. Join me and other concerned citizens by participating in the District A Fund.
Sincerely,
Rick Cronauer
